1. General overview
These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use acceleratorwp.com and for-wordpress.org and purchase our digital products. The two websites are operated by the same business; references below to "us" and "the Supplier" cover both.
By purchasing a product from either website, you indicate that you have read and agreed to these terms.
Our products are digital software licenses, including but not limited to Accelerator for WordPress and other WordPress themes and utilities distributed through our websites.
2. Merchant of Record and payment processing
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com (and its applicable regional entities, including Paddle.com Inc., Paddle.com (Canada) Ltd., and Paddle.com Market Limited).
Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. This means that when you purchase a product through our website, you are conducting a transaction directly with Paddle, and the product is made available to you by us (the Supplier).
Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to payments, handles returns, and manages chargebacks. By completing a transaction using our services, you explicitly agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms and Conditions as well as our own product licensing terms below.
For any payment-related disputes, chargebacks, or billing inquiries, we strongly encourage you to contact Paddle directly at [email protected] prior to disputing a charge with your bank.
3. Subscriptions and recurring charges
AcceleratorWP licenses are sold as yearly subscriptions (see section 10 for the full per-tier terms). When you purchase, you authorize Paddle to charge your provided payment method for the agreed yearly amount and to continue charging on each subsequent renewal until cancelled.
- Subscriptions automatically renew yearly at the same tier and currency you originally purchased on, unless you cancel beforehand.
- You can cancel at any time from the customer dashboard on acceleratorwp.com/dashboard (after sign-in), via the Buyer portal link provided in your Paddle confirmation email, or by submitting a cancellation request to Paddle. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep premium features until that date.
4. Product licensing and acceptable use
All our WordPress plugins and themes are licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) v2 or later. This means you have the freedom to use, modify, and distribute the software. However, premium support, automatic updates, and cloud-based features (if applicable) are provided only to customers with a valid and active license key.
You agree to use the products in compliance with these terms and applicable laws. You may not use the products in a way that infringes any third-party rights, redistributes premium features under your own brand, or distributes your license key to third parties.
5. Refund policy and cancellations
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for our digital products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, contact us within 30 days of your purchase date and we will issue a full refund.
- All refund requests must be processed in accordance with our Refund Policyand Paddle's cancellation policies.
- EU/EEA and UK consumers: you have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days of completing a transaction, unless you have explicitly agreed to start downloading, streaming, or using the product before the end of that 14-day period, thereby waiving your right of withdrawal.
6. Taxes
Depending on your location, sales tax (including VAT, GST, and similar consumption taxes) may be applied to your transaction by Paddle. Businesses registered for tax in their country of purchase may be entitled to a tax refund directly through Paddle by providing a valid tax code within 60 days of the transaction.
7. Product support and updates
Customers with an active license are eligible for product updates and technical support directly from us (the Supplier). Support covers installation guidance and bug fixes. We are not liable for issues caused by third-party plugins, themes, or custom server configurations outside of our control.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AcceleratorWP and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, profit, revenue, or business interruption, arising out of the use or the inability to use the digital products provided.
9. Changes to terms
We (and Paddle) reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be updated on this page with the revised date. If you do not agree with an update regarding subscription terms, you may terminate your subscription before the new terms take effect.
10. Yearly license terms (Accelerator for WordPress)
AcceleratorWP licenses are billed yearly. The following additional terms apply:
- A yearly license grants use of the plugin on the permitted number of active domains (as indicated by your purchased tier — Solo: 2 sites, Agency: 5 sites, Studio: 15 sites) for one year from the date of purchase or last successful renewal. Larger fleets are handled through a custom enterprise agreement; contact us if your needs exceed Studio.
- Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically each year at the same tier price. Paddle sends a renewal reminder before the charge. Cancelling before the renewal date prevents the charge; you keep premium features until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- What happens at expiry without renewal: on the next plugin license heartbeat after expiry, the license is downgraded to the free tier. Your wizard rules, per-page overrides, and telemetry history are preserved and re-activate immediately if you re-subscribe later. Premium modules become unavailable until renewal.
- Updates, bug fixes, and best-effort email support are provided during your active subscription period. No Service Level Agreement (SLA) is guaranteed.
- Compatibility with future major versions of WordPress core, PHP, or third-party plugins is not guaranteed beyond the versions current at the time of your most recent renewal. Minimum compatibility as of the last update of these terms: WordPress 6.5+, PHP 8.1+.
- If the plugin is discontinued, active subscribers retain premium access through the end of their paid period and are not charged again. Renewal will be disabled automatically.
- Licenses are non-transferable between individuals or businesses without our prior written consent.
- The 30-day money-back guarantee applies to the most recent charge, whether that was an initial purchase or a renewal. Upon refund, the license is deactivated immediately.
